I've been a deviant long before discovering this website. I was an artist since a very early age, in one form or another. My dad passed down his case of pencils, pens, ink, erasers, etc. when I was very little, and I took right to it. Both parents were very supportive of my artistic nature. By the time I was in my teens, I was very into comics and my artwork followed that style. After I decided to start playing in bands, the drawing was reduced to a minimum, but my creativity was just present in a different form during those years. Now I'm back in school, studying communication design, still playing in a band, and finding the time to keep both my music and art going. I've heard of deviantart.com for awhile now, and now I've finally decided that I needed a deviant gallery, because every opportunity to promote my artwork is a good opportunity.
